Do the money counters count precisely?
Yes, they do. If the money counters are set well they count precisely from the smallest to the most cutting edge devices. As time passes the devices should be maintained and set as some components can get worn out. This period depends on the use; it can be 1 month (usage in a bank) or even up to 6-12 months (office use).
How do money counters spot counterfeit banknotes? Do we have to examine them separately, by hand?
No, the devices automatically check the banknotes on the fly, without slowing down the counting speed, provided that the appropriate function is switched on, but they cannot filter out counterfeit banknotes with 100% certainty, and we do not provide a guarantee for this. For safer checking, purchase a desktop or handheld banknote detector.
What is the difference between the money counter devices and why is there a price difference between them?
The devices can be divided into 4 categories: 1. low-capacity devices (Cashtech 230, Cashtech 340), 2. lower-category devices for office use (Cashtech 160, AccuBANKER 1100/UV), 3. mid-range devices (Cashtech 3500, Cashtech 2900, AccuBANKER 4000), 4. professional devices (Cashtech 780). The price is determined by the device's design, technical solution and counting mechanism.
What type of money detector device do I need?
As long as you don't have any special requirements, a simple UV lamp is suitable for examining banknotes. The price differences are due to the strength of the UV light and other extra features (e.g. watermark examination or magnifier). For a smaller shop or store, an NCT 18 banknote detector is also suitable, but if you would like to carry out a more reliable examination, we recommend the D64, D66 devices. Our professional currency detector machines are suitable for special currency examinations.
Do you offer maintenance of the devices on the spot, do you come to the place of business?
Yes, we do as we have a network of nationwide maintenance service (sub-contractors), more information is available on the service phone number.

The cost of delivering the device back is covered by our company within the guarantee period but the cost of sending the device to us has to be covered by the purchaser. Please notify us on the service_cashtech.eu email address prior to sending back the device.
